Bond Optics Founding

Founded in 1959 in Grafton, New Hampshire by Leonard Guaraldi, Sr. as a division of Massachusetts based Bond Research Labs

1967

Relocation of Bond

Bond Optics relocated to the neighboring community of Lebanon, NH where a new facility was built to support the manufacture of precision optics, an emerging field

First Facility Expansion

Bond expands footprint to allow for the addition of custom designed and manufactured continuous and spindle polishing machines and prism manufacturing capabilities

Transition to Next Generation

Following the death of his father in 1983, Leonard Guaraldi, Jr. assumes the role of President

Bond expands its facility to 32,000 square feet of manufacturing space, increasing capacity and capabilities

Optical Polishing/Finishing Technician

We are growing! Bond Optics has been manufacturing precision optical components and mechanical glasswork for the Aerospace, Defense, Govt research labs, Semiconductor, and Bio-medical industries for 50 years. Currently, we have an opening for an experienced Optical Fabrication and Polishing Technician. The successful candidate must be well versed in optical fabrication methods and techniques including continuous polishers, spindle and double-sided polishing and grinding equipment. They must be proficient with the use and operation of auto-collimators, electronic indicators and interferometers. Work shift is Monday thru Friday 7am-3:30pm.
